Just a Taste

From an early age, I understood the power of taste. My grandmother would pair Issey Miyake with vintage cameos and Kent cigarettes; somehow, it worked—beautifully.

Taste is not about logos, labels, or expensive stuff. Taste is from deep within.

You know it when you see it, feel it, and taste it, and it has nothing to do with pedigree or how many followers you’ve got.

So with that, here’s just a taste of some stuff I’m into right now:

To read:
Graydon Carter’s autobiography will take you back to the salad days of journalism.

To watch:
The documentary on Anita Pallenberg, “Catching Fire,” is available on Amazon Prime or Apple TV. A must-watch for Stones/style/British blonde fans alike.

To gift:
High Camp Ephemeral Flowers, one word- gardenias.

To wear:
Boat shoes are big. I love these from Jamie Haller.

To eat:
Kolsvart Salty Licorice. I am addicted. Think Swedish Fish but black and salty.

To spray:
Frederic Malle Carnal Flower, The GOAT of sultry Tuberose scents.
